《不想一個人》由金鐘導演范揚仲編導，演員范少勳、莫允雯、温貞菱帶來從影以來最大尺度的突破演出，范少勳有別於以往陽光的形象，在片中飾演皮條客大談格差戀，愛上飾演藝廊經理的莫允雯，而愛著他的是青梅竹馬、飾演傳播妹的温貞菱，他們在孤獨之中碰出激情的火花。温貞菱更以本片入圍今年金馬獎最佳女配角，在奔放不羈的表演中細膩詮釋曾經愛過、好像放棄又餘情未了的狀態。

《不想一個人》以不同角度解釋愛情，導演范揚仲用鏡頭呈現每個角色渴望被瞭解而相互依偎的愛。飾演皮條客的范少勳自知與温貞菱演出的傳播妹才是處在同個世界的人，但卻渴望更刺激的對象，與飾演藝廊經理的莫允雯大談格差戀。看似難解的三角戀難題，隨著拍攝進行范少勳也找到解答：「我和莫允雯的默契突然建立，看著她的眼睛竟知道她想要什麼！有了她，我覺得活著的每一天都很有意義。」被晾在一旁的苦主温貞菱，形容自己與范少勳的關係，既悲傷又餘情未了，她説：「愛有很多種形式，而我會嘗試去喜歡他愛的一切，這份愛是很無以名狀、難以形容的。」
